How to Make Baked BBQ Chicken
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray your baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar in a medium bowl until smooth.
- Arrange the chicken in your prepared baking dish. Pour half of the homemade BBQ sauce over the chicken.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C), basting with the remaining BBQ sauce halfway through.
- Serve the chicken hot out of the oven, drizzled with any extra sauce.
