How to Make Banana Brown Sugar Muffins
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a muffin tin.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mash the ripe bananas in another bowl and mix in egg, yogurt, melted butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until integrated.
- Combine the wet banana mixture with the dry ingredients, mixing gently.
- Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with batter.
- Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the batter in each cup.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
