How to Make Boiled Corn on the Cob
  1. Shuck the Corn: Start by removing the silk and husks from each ear of corn.
  2. Boil the Water: In a large pot, pour in 4 cups of water and bring it to a rolling boil. Once boiling, add 1 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Cook the Corn: Carefully place the corn cobs into the boiling water. Cover the pot and let them cook for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove and Drain: Using tongs, take the corn cobs out of the pot and let them drain briefly.
