How to Make Cheesy Basil Garlic Pizza
- Blend the Pesto: Start by adding fresh basil, pine nuts, parmesan cheese, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper into a blender. Pulse until smooth.
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Prepare the Dough: Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface until 12 inches in diameter.
- Grease the Dough: Brush one tablespoon of olive oil over the surface of the dough.
- Sprinkle Cornmeal: Lightly sprinkle cornmeal onto your pizza peel or baking sheet.
- Spread the Pesto: Transfer the dough to the peel or sheet and spread pesto over the surface, leaving a border.
