How to Make Cheesy Ground Beef and Potato Casserole
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and generously grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with the chopped onion and minced garlic until browned, about 7–10 minutes.
- Mix together the cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, whole milk, salt, and pepper in a bowl until well combined.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the greased baking dish. Add half of the meat mixture followed by half of the shredded cheese. Repeat the layering process.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
