  • 3 cloves fresh garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Tzatziki
  • 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 medium cucumber squeezed of excess moisture
  • 1 tablespoon dill (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

For Assembly
  • 4 pita breads warmed
  • to taste fresh veggies (e.g., lettuce, tomatoes, red onions)

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Add chicken breasts, ensuring they’re fully coated. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the chicken marinates, squeeze excess moisture from the grated cucumber. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and dill if using. Chill in the fridge.
  3. Set your grill or skillet to medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden-brown.
  4. Once cooked, take the chicken off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes. After resting, slice it into strips.
  5. Warm your pita breads and fill them with sliced chicken. Top with tzatziki sauce and fresh veggies for added crunch.
