  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder essential for texture
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips can substitute with dark or white chocolate

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl until combined.
  3. Cream the melted butter with the granulated and brown sugars in another bowl until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract; mix well.
  4. Combine the dry mixture with the wet batter gradually, stirring until no flour streaks remain. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cake for 10 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
