Cooking Instructions
  1. Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned—this should take about 5-7 minutes. Once done, remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, toss in the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 4 minutes until they become fragrant and the onion is translucent.
  3. Stir in the diced potatoes along with the dried thyme. Pour in chicken broth until the potatoes are partially covered.
  4. Cover the skillet and let it simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
  5. Add the heavy cream back into the skillet, then return the cooked sausage. Stir everything together and cook until warmed through.
  6. Serve the Creamy Sausage and Potatoes warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
