Cooking Instructions
- Start by heating a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook until browned—this should take about 5-7 minutes. Once done, remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, toss in the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté for about 4 minutes until they become fragrant and the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the diced potatoes along with the dried thyme. Pour in chicken broth until the potatoes are partially covered.
- Cover the skillet and let it simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender.
- Add the heavy cream back into the skillet, then return the cooked sausage. Stir everything together and cook until warmed through.
- Serve the Creamy Sausage and Potatoes warm, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
