How to Make Fried Potatoes and Onions
  1. Start by washing and peeling your potatoes. Then, slice them into thin rounds or cubes for even cooking. Cut the onion into thin strips to allow it to caramelize beautifully.
  2. In a large skillet, pour in the olive oil and heat it over medium heat until shimmering.
  3. Carefully add the potato slices to the skillet, spreading them out evenly. Fry undisturbed for 5-7 minutes until they begin to turn golden brown and crispy.
  4. Once the potatoes are golden, stir in the onion strips. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Allow the potatoes and onions to cook together for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring regularly until both are tender and beautifully golden brown.
  6. Once cooked, serve your Fried Potatoes and Onions hot, and for a delightful touch, garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
