Method
 

Steps to Make Fudgy Brownies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the brownies.
  2. Lightly spray a 9×9" metal baking pan with non-stick spray.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips and salted butter together until smooth, then cool slightly.
  4. In a small bowl, sift together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, and salt.
  5. In a large bowl, combine eggs, granulated sugar, and vanilla. Mix with an electric mixer on medium speed for about three minutes.
  6. Gently fold the cooled chocolate mixture into the egg mixture without over-mixing.
  7. Tip in the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly, and bake in the preheated oven for 34-40 minutes.
  9. Let brownies cool completely in the pan for at least three hours.
  10. Remove from pan, cut into 16 squares, and enjoy!
