How to Make Garlic Parmesan Pasta
  1. Begin by filling a large pot with salted water and bring it to a rolling boil. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes, then drain, reserving ½ cup of the pasta water for later.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant but not browned.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  4. Once the cream has thickened, gradually stir in the grated parmesan cheese until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and gently toss it with the sauce. If needed, add some reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
  6. Finally, taste your Garlic Parmesan Pasta and season with salt and pepper as desired. Serve immediately.
