  • 1 cup Mixed nuts chopped almonds and walnuts
  • 1/4 cup Chia seeds or pumpkin seeds boost nutrition and add crunch
For the Sweetness
  • 1/2 cup Dried fruits cranberries, raisins, or apricots

Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chopped mixed nuts, chia seeds (or pumpkin seeds), and dried fruits.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond (or peanut) butter and honey (or maple syrup).
  4. Mix Together: Gently pour the creamy wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
  5. Transfer to Dish: Carefully transfer the mixture into a lined 8×8-inch baking dish, press down firmly.
  6. Bake to Perfection: Pop the dish into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  7. Cool and Cut: Once baked, remove the dish from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely in the pan. Slice into squares or rectangles.
