Method
- Preheat your panini press or skillet over medium heat.
- Spread Dijon mustard generously on one side of each slice of ciabatta.
- Layer the sliced ham and Swiss cheese on the mustard side of one bread slice.
- Butter the outer sides of both ciabatta slices generously.
- Place the sandwich in your preheated panini press or skillet and press down.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes until golden-brown and the cheese begins to ooze out.
- Remove from heat, slice diagonally, and serve hot.
