  • 2 large Large eggs
  • 1 large Large egg yolk
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips

How to Make Homemade Brownies
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper and non-stick spray.
  2. Sift together all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder, and espresso powder. Set aside.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter and oil with 1/3 cup of granulated sugar over medium heat until smooth.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and remaining sugar until combined.
  5. Gradually blend the warm butter mixture into the egg mixture while whisking continuously.
  6. Fold in the sifted dry ingredients and chocolate chips until just combined.
  7. Scrape the brownie batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
  8. Bake for 28 to 30 minutes until the edges are firm and the top is shiny.
  9. Allow the brownies to cool completely before slicing into squares.
