Instructions
Prepare the Cold Brew Coffee
In a large jar or pitcher, combine 1 cup of coarse ground coffee with 4 cups of cold water. Stir gently to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.
Cover the jar and let it steep in the refrigerator for at least 12 hours. This slow brewing process extracts a rich flavor without bitterness.
After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter into another container to remove the grounds.
Assemble the Iced Coffee
Fill each tall glass with 1 cup of ice cubes. For a stronger coffee flavor, use coffee ice cubes made from leftover cold brew.
Pour 1/2 cup of the prepared cold brew coffee over the ice in each glass.
Add 1/4 cup of milk to each glass. You can adjust the amount of milk based on your creaminess preference.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of simple syrup for sweetness. Taste and adjust the sweetness as needed.
If desired, top with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder for an indulgent touch.
Notes
For the best flavor, use freshly ground coffee beans. You can also experiment with flavored syrups or add a splash of vanilla extract for extra flavor.
