How to Make Italian Sub Sandwich
  1. Start by slicing the medium tomato and thinly slicing the optional red onion to ensure freshness.
  2. Carefully slice open the hoagie rolls without cutting all the way through.
  3. Layer the salami, capicola, and provolone cheese inside the rolls followed by shredded romaine lettuce, tomato slices, onions, and banana peppers.
