How to Make One Pot Cajun Chicken Pasta
- Prep the Ingredients: Start by chopping your boneless chicken into bite-sized pieces, dicing the bell peppers, and mincing the garlic. This will make cooking a breeze!
- Sauté the Chicken: In a large pot over medium heat, add olive oil and the chicken seasoned with Cajun seasoning. Sauté until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.
- Cook the Vegetables: Using the same pot, add the minced garlic and diced bell peppers. Sauté until softened, approximately 3 minutes.
- Add Pasta and Liquid: Pour in the penne pasta, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir everything together and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer until the pasta is al dente, around 10 minutes.
- Finish the Dish: Stir in the freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Then, return the cooked chicken to the pot and mix everything well.
- Serve and Garnish: Serve your One Pot Cajun Chicken Pasta immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley or additional Parmesan.
