Making Painici à l’ail et beurre
- In a bowl, blend the softened butter, pressed garlic, chopped parsley, and lemon zest until well incorporated.
- Taste the garlic butter mixture and add salt as needed.
- Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture over each half.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 190°C (375°F) for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, slice into pieces, and serve warm.
