  • 1 cup Pizza sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese Melts beautifully for a gooey texture.
  • Toppings of choice Pepperoni, bell peppers, arugula, goat cheese, etc.

Method
 

Making the Pizza
  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture along with the olive oil. Stir until the dough forms.
  3. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone inside to heat up, if you have one.
  6. Once risen, roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick. Transfer it to a hot baking sheet or pizza stone.
  7. Brush olive oil on the dough surface. Spread pizza sauce evenly, then sprinkle mozzarella and desired toppings.
  8. Bake your pizza in the oven for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
