Method
 

Making the Pizza
  1. In a medium bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the all-purpose flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture and olive oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot.
  5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it inside to heat.
  6. Once risen, roll out the dough to about ¼ inch thick on a floured surface and transfer to a baking sheet or heated pizza stone.
  7. Brush the dough with olive oil, spread the pizza sauce, add mozzarella cheese and desired toppings.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
