Method
 

Making the Dough
  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Gradually add the yeast mixture and olive oil, stirring until a dough forms.
  3. Place the dough on a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Put the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for 30 minutes in a warm spot.
Baking the Pizza
  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). Place a pizza stone inside if using.
  2. Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thick and transfer to a hot baking sheet or pizza stone.
  3. Brush olive oil on the dough, spread pizza sauce, sprinkle mozzarella cheese and add desired toppings.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
