Method
 

Instructions
  1. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a mixing bowl. Stir until well mixed, then press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a pie pan to form a tasty crust.
  2. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, peppermint extract, and a few drops of green food coloring in a bowl. Blend until smooth and creamy, ensuring there are no lumps for a delightful filling.
  3. Fold in the whipped heavy cream (or whipped topping) gently. The mixture should become light and airy.
  4. Pour the peppermint filling into the chocolate crust. Smooth the top evenly with a spatula.
  5. Drizzle melted chocolate over the top of the pie in a swirl pattern.
  6. Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or until it has set thoroughly.
  7. Garnish the pie right before serving with whipped cream, chocolate shavings or chips, and green sprinkles or edible glitter.
