  • 1 box Strawberry Cake Mix gives cookies vibrant flavor and color
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1 large Egg bonds the ingredients
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
For the Topping
  • 1/4 cup Pink Sanding Sugar adds sparkle and crunch
  • 48 pieces Hershey's Kisses for topping

Method
 

How to Make Strawberry Kiss Cookies
  1. In a large bowl, stir together the dry strawberry cake mix, melted unsalted butter, and large egg until smooth.
  2. Gently incorporate the cream cheese into the mixture until well combined.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least one hour.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Unwrap 48 Hershey's Kisses and place pink sanding sugar in a small bowl.
  6. Roll the chilled dough into tablespoon-sized balls and roll in pink sanding sugar.
  7. Place the cookie balls on the prepared baking sheets, spacing them a couple of inches apart.
  8. Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes or until slightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies sit for about 2 minutes on the baking tray before transferring them.
  10. Gently press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie.
  11. Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack and allow them to cool fully.
