Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
- Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Melt the butter and brown sugar together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly until it starts to bubble.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the buttery mixture evenly over the crackers.
- Bake for 5 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly and golden.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips on top right after removing from the oven.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the crackers using a spatula.
- Drizzle the chocolate-hazelnut spread over the chocolate layer.
- Sprinkle with Christmas sprinkles and toasted slivered almonds.
- Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
